S to P wave form factors in semi - leptonic B decays
We apply HQET to semi-leptonic B and Bs meson decays into the observed charmed P wave states. In order to examine the sensitivity of the results to the choice of a specific model, we perform all calculations using several different meson models, and find that uncertainty introduced by the choice of a particular model is about 30%. Specifically, assuming τB = 1.50ps and Vcb = 0.040, we obtain br...
متن کاملLeptonic and semi - leptonic B decays
We present results for the semi-leptonic and leptonic decays of B mesons. These non-perturbative matrix elements are important for constraining the CKM matrix. Results are presented for the pseudoscalar and vector decay constants, as well as flavour breaking ratios and heavy quark symmetry relations. We consider the chiral and momentum dependence of the semi-leptonic form factors of the decay B...
متن کاملOne - particle Inclusive Semi - Leptonic B decays
We propose a method for a QCD based calculation of one-particle inclusive decays of the form B → D̄X or B → D̄X. It is based on the heavy mass limit and a short distance expansion of the amplitudes, which yield a power series in the parameter 1/M2 X for the spectra and in ΛQCDmb/(mb −mc) for the rates. We study the leading term of this expansion for the case of the semi–leptonic decays B → D̄Xl+ν.
متن کاملForm Factors for Semi-Leptonic and Radiative Decays of Heavy Mesons to Light Mesons
To know and understand form factors of hadronic currents is of decisive importance for analysing exclusive weak decays. The ratios of different form factors of a given process depend on the relativistic spin structure of initial and final particles. It is shown — assuming simple properties of the spectator particle — that these ratios can entirely be expresssed in terms of particle and quark ma...
متن کاملLattice analysis of semi-leptonic form factors∗
We present preliminary results from simulations done on 170 32×64 lattices at β = 6.0 using quenched Wilson fermions. This talk focuses on the Q behavior of the form-factors, extrapolation in quark masses, dependence on renormalization scheme, and comparison with heavy-quark effective theory (HQET). Even though we cannot estimate errors due to quenching and discretization, our results are consi...
